Business Philosophy

Our house painting business philosophy is to:

  1. Present all possible options honestly
  2. Be Fair, Ethical, and Equitable
  3. Be timely and dependable
  4. Cooperate with you in a trustworthy manner
  5. Demonstrate pride in workmanship

We are committed to your satisfaction. We are a service-oriented business with a reputation built on satisfied customers who call us back and refer us to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  We will work harder to make you happy because we understand that reputation is everything.

Our House Painting Process

All estimates are completed by our owner.  After taking measurements and identifying any issues he feels need to be addressed, you will receive an initial proposal either in person or by email broken down item by item.  If you choose to move forward, one of our professionals will meet with you at the job site to address any additional requirements you may have and to clarify the scope of work and all expectations.  After that you will receive a final proposal which when signed off by you will become our contract and work will begin.  Because work quality and finishing in a timely manner are important to us, don’t be surprised to see Chris, the owner, stopping by in the morning, the afternoon, or sometimes both to monitor job progress.  Once the job is completed you’ll do a walk-through with our superintendent. At that time you can note anything not to your satisfaction and we’ll take care of it.  Your complete satisfaction is our goal.  That’s what sets us apart.  We require no money from you before we start a job, but we do expect payment in full when the job is completed.

Our Paint Products

To get the best possible outcome, you need to use the best possible products.  That’s why Sherwin Williams house painting products are the only products we use.  Nobody makes better products when it comes to protecting your home.

Competitive Painting Pricing

We feel that you deserve a quality job done at a competitive price.  That’s why we competitively price our work against local competitors.  If, however,  you have a proposal from a local house painting competitor with a price and a scope of work that we feel is justifiable, we will match their price.  If we feel uncomfortable with their price we will tell you and respectfully decline the job.  We are not willing to let the quality of our work be sacrificed by using inferior paint products or unskilled workers.

Owner Involvement

Our owner does all of our paint estimates, most of our pre-painting evaluations and is constantly popping in to monitor quality control.  When you call, there is a good chance you’ll even speak to him directly!  He understands that building a reputation is one of the hardest feats out there and maintaining it is even harder.  If you’re not happy, he isn’t happy.

We understand that the customer is what keeps us in business.  That’s why our goal is to be the company with a reputation where any customer we have done work for can say their experience with Davis Paint Company was a great one.
